Elven Village Manor Released

Postby Chikako » Sun Nov 20, 2005 8:17 pm

One of our most elegant models yet! Elven Village Manor includes the 3DS and Poser pp2 versions. We may be including a Bryce .br5 file, depending on feedback. We tested this in Bryce 5 using just the 3DS version and it imported very nicely.

If you purchased Elven Village Volume 2, this product has already been added to your archive. As you can tell, we have a standalone price of $12 on this one, making Elven Village Volume 2 an even better deal!

The next model is...Elven Village Cottage.

Just a heads-up...your `buy` link to content paradise for the Manor leads to the Blacksmith page....unless i`m mistaken,
Just an idea....those branches that reach out and end in a point.....as an addon pack later maybe give us leafed branches? So that it more looks like a live tree with those branches having leaves and all.

Great work Chikako! :)

I really like this one as it associates the Elven theme back with Nature/Forests, to compliment the Dwarven association with Earth.

I'd love to see some more Nature themed Elven models!

It was a big debate for us to figure out how we would handle this. Its hard to imagine elves living in a naked tree :-) We were figuring people would add their own additional materials then possibly adapt the bark. Here is a quickie I did in Vue. This takes their mutated rose bloom tree and attaches each tree to the limbs. Then I took the bark texture of the rose bloom tree and applied it to the tree body. It could use some clean up but it gives you an idea what Im talking about.

This is doable with TreeLab in Bryce, clearly. I happen to really like Vue (we have a long history with e-on, too).

Best regards,

The landscape you have there is very interesting -- adds a very asian look to it. Nice scene :-)
