One favorite stop for young wizards at the end of a long day is Verne Hackett's Bronze Dragon Inn. Here young wizards of mix and mingle, trade spells, meeting secret loves, engage in harmless competitions and showing off their wizard's gear. Hackett has never explained the pair of genie bottle carvings found above the door. A very powerful spell cast on the Bronze Dragon blocks all magical detection and other forms of scrying. The Bronze Dragon is a part of the Apprentice Alley: The Wizards series of models - suitable for a medieval fantasy setting where humans live, yet perhaps also where other races, such as halflings, dwarves, elves and faeries may cross ones path.
The Bronze Dragon Inn is a full two floors plus attic. The ground floor includes an open bar, drinking room with hearth, and kitchen. The first floor features several private suites. The attic above is roomy, and as the first floor, has an open rail so that it is possible to see whomever enters by way of the front door.
