About the Hunter's House
The Hunter's House is built of a country brick, though the fireplace inside is of an unusual southern red brick. The hunter is rarely at home. On the walls are trophy antlers, and all the chairs on the ground floor have fur seats. Upstairs on the landing is a blade sharpening wheel to keep the hunter's kit in working order. A large single bedroom is clean but hardly used. A number board hangs outside the house.
